DAY two on the Milan schedule begins in suitably elegant
fashion, thanks to the latest collection from MaxMara - the label
chosen by the Duchess
of Cambridge earlier this week for her first public engagement
of 2013.
Next up is Karl Lagerfeld's first appearance on the
autumn/winter 2013-14 schedule, which will see him taking his bow
at the end of the Fendi show. After a
quick break for lunch, it's time for Just Cavalli
at 2pm - the younger, sassier sister of Roberto Cavalli's mainline
label - and the designer has confirmed that British model and
current face of the brand, Georgia May
Jagger, will be playing a starring role.
Antonio Marras and Luisa Beccaria take us comfortably into the
afternoon before the day (or arguably even, the week's), main
event: Prada.
Fashion-watchers worldwide will no doubt be glued to the catwalk in
anticipation of Miuccia Prada's latest offering.
The evening begins with Ports 1961
before twins Dean and Dan Caten hold their DSquared2 finale
- a show that always guarantees theatrics and fun. With recent
seasons having seen festival, prom and Nineties-rave themes, it'll
ensure that the fashion pack ends the day on a high note.
